| A year of synthesis, during which I sought to bring out a maximum of flexibility, lightness and sobriety from the metal I used, as epitomized by the Louis XXII desk with its highly oriental curvatures. Wishing to obtain greater brilliance, I have again been working on polishing techniques. |
